Eigentlich müßte es diesen Beitrag gar nicht geben. Denn eigentlich
hätte ich eine solche Veranstaltung nie besucht. Ich habe nämlich Prinzipien. Eigentlich.
Ich bin Cinekomplex-Gegner. Und als solcher besuche ich nur in seltenen Fällen ein solches Etablissement. Unlängst habe ich Kinokarten geschenkt bekommen, was in zweierlei Hinsicht traurig war. Erstens hatte ich für die Karten keine Verwendung (schließlich tauschte ich sie) und zweitens machte es deutlich, daß die Schenkenden mich nicht wirklich gut kennen. Ich gehe mit meiner Meinung zu Cinekomplexen zwar nicht hausieren, aber ich tu sie an geeigneter Stelle durchaus kund. Wie dem auch sei, ich bin nebenbei noch ein Rudeltier und als die Einladung zu einer Ladies Night* mit ein paar Freundinnen kam, ahnte ich kaum böses. Schlimmer als eine seichte Liebeskomödie mit überdurchschnittlich viel hochfrequentem Gekicher konnte es nicht werden. Auf das was mich dann erwartete, war ich allerdings nicht vorbereitet.
Mal so gesehen:
Nur Frauen – okay.
Geschnatter und Gegacker im hohen Dezibelbereich – okay.
Neumodisches Pansch-Getränk – annehmbar.
Aktuelle Ausgabe von „Gala“ – grenzwertig.
Parfum-Pröbchen – peinlich.
Kalorienreduzierte Schokoriegel – traurig.
Infostand einer Schönheitsklinik mit Silikonimplantaten zum probefühlen („Ratenfinanzierung möglich“) – no way!
Ich pflege zu Klischees normalerweise ein eher entspanntes Verhältnis aber an diesem Abend habe ich mich nur eins gefühlt: reduziert. Reduziert auf Klatsch, billigen Alkohol und Titten. Der Film tat sein übriges. Aber am schlimmsten: Den meisten schien es zu gefallen. Stutenbissig wurde um jede Gala („Nur solange er Vorrat reicht“) und um jedes Gratis-Pröbchen gekämpft. Als der Film zu Ende war, bildete sich am Ausgang ein riesiger Stau, der ein zügiges Verlassen des Gebäudes unmöglich machte, weil alle unbedingt noch ein Täschchen mit Wimperntusche, einem Lebkuchenherz und reichlich Werbung abgreifen wollten. Was zur Hölle war da bloß los?
Bei der Nachfrage, ob ich bei der nächsten Ladies Night wieder dabei wäre, konnte ich nur mit einem gequälten Lächeln abwinken - denn einen Hauch von Restwürde lasse selbst ich mir nicht nehmen.
*Die Ladies Night ist ein Kinoabend nur für Frauen. Gezeigt wird ein Film (zumeist eine romantische Komödie), dessen offizieller Start noch bevorsteht. Als Ergänzung des Frauenabends werden süffige Getränke, Klatschzeitschriften und Kosmetikproben verteilt. Firmen dürfen sich und ihre Produkte (vom Girokonto über den Fitnessstudio-Vertrag bis hin zu Silikonimplantaten) präsentieren.
